i think its time i started to acctually start blogging.... i just had a random feeling .. anh hey , MERRY CHRISTMAS :P oh and i got 24 turkeys which are being k***d tomorrow :) i recently won a competition on elev8 :) hows ur lives been:) ??????

lambs finally arrived

Yes the lambs finally arrived today and ill have a picture tomorrow because the camera is out of battery :( lambing live is brilliant !! who watches it ??? egg production is gone really up and i've eggs falling out my ears !! the duck eggs are sooo nice and there huge ! i eventually got a water system in my chickens and duck pens but its only out of an 1000L cube but its good enough for me :)!!! i went to a soccer blitz with the school and i scored 5 class goals .. 1 from the half way line !! 3 from running the pitch and a header !!! we didn't do to well overall but sure it was worth it if you ask me :)  our broad band dongle is broken, if it wasn't for dads phone i wouldn't be uploading this until it gets fixed :( i don't have a clue how it broke but sure thats life !!!

were did you go to see a parade ?? i went a local parade :) it was worse than every other year  ... some floats  were better than other   :/ my favorite part was the awsome TRACTORS ... the massey ferguson 165 that is :) i really wan't 1 :) But how was your day ???

sickened

i was sickened when i realised there was 24 egg hidden under the chicken shed .... i was happy and sad at the same time !! i was happy because i had alot of eggs and im sad i didnt find them earlier !! ITS NEARLY PANCAKE TUESDAY !!

The world is a busy place !

its sad to say that the lamb i was getting is sick at  the moment but i hope to still be getting 1 soon enough:).
today was a busy day !! because our neighbour B came up and plowed up a HUGE piece of our field ! it was really fun and i cant wait till we start planting our seeds !!
If any1 is not sure on buying a glass house or polly tunnel .. i would buy a polly tunnel because there brilliant , the don't smash and leave glass everywhere, they ar much better because they have alot of space and there just brilliant !

treadle

this is a brilliant feeder from macEoin poultry.com . Its called a treadle,the hen walks on the lever and gets some food .. when he steps off the lever goes up and the food cant be touched .

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

first of all HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! What did you get up to on new years eve ???  I went to my neighbours house and it was serious crack !!! the turkeys went to heaven and the remains were LOVELY .... snow and frost is all gone =[ back to school =[ and football =]
i'v 18 hens and im only getting around 6 eggs a day, 1 or 2 are being pecked =[ any ideas on how to stop it ?? does any1 have a roll-a-way nesting box system ? i am thinking of getting 1 =] and my 3 ducks have stopped laying .. im feeding them A.W.ENNIS layers pellets ??
